The New Directions in Engineering Excellence series is a collection of resources for educators derived from academic research and designed for use in encouraging student awareness of engineering career, promoting student retention in academic programs, and advancing students' personal and academic success. The examples and proven methods presented throughout the series are relevant at every point in a student's career. As a result, the Engineering Excellence series provides valuable tools to support teachers, educators, and outreach visitors who offer guidance to young women, of all ethnicities and irrespective of disability status, along their paths to fulfilling careers.
